The PIX-Force Section C (C-90) Classical Wrapped V-Belt is engineered specifically for severe industrial operating conditions where high power transfer, massive starting torque, and violent mechanical shock loads are standard. Manufactured by PIX Transmissions Ltd, this heavy-duty belt powers primary stone crushers, cement plant grinding mills, commercial timber debarkers, and heavy industrial mixing vessels throughout Kenya and East Africa. Featuring a massive 22 mm top width and 14 mm profile height, the Section C construction employs high-strength, pre-stretched synthetic polyester cords embedded in a fiber-reinforced polychloroprene core. This internal reinforcement prevents cord distortion under violent shock loads—such as when uncrushed rock enters a jaw crusher—preventing sudden belt snap and catastrophic production halts. The outer envelope consists of a heavy-duty, double-ply rubber-impregnated fabric jacket. This protective skin provides high friction grip against sheave sidewalls while resisting abrasive stone dust, quartz particles, cement clinker dust, and industrial oils. Certified to ISO 1813 for antistatic electrical conductivity, it eliminates static sparks in dusty quarry and milling installations. With an inside length (Li) of 2286 mm (90 inches) and a datum pitch length (Ld) of 2342 mm, the C-90 belt requires a minimum pulley pitch diameter of 180 mm.
