The front panel features a dual-display interface comprising 4 digits of 0.52" height for Process Variable (PV) and 5 digits of 0.30" height for Setpoint (SP) and alarm annunciations. The internal 16-bit analog-to-digital converter processes signals from standard thermocouples (K, S, R, J, T, N, B with cold-junction compensation across -25..85 °C), RTDs (Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni100, PTC 1k, NTC 10k), linear process voltage and current (0..10 V, 0/4..20 mA, 0..60 mV), and potentiometers up to 150 kΩ. Output capabilities of the ATR224-12ABC configuration include two 2 A / 250 V AC electromechanical relays and a digital SSR trigger output selectable for 12 V or 24 V DC (25 mA max). An auxiliary 12/24 V DC (30 mA) output is available to supply external active sensors.
