With a standard threaded valve, removing the valve requires cutting the pipe or disassembling all connected pipework back to a union. A True Union valve features union nuts on both ends; unscrewing the nuts allows the central valve body to slide out freely while the pipe ends stay glued or threaded in place.
UPVC is suitable for temperatures from 0°C to 60°C (32°F to 140°F). For process temperatures between 60°C and 90°C, CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) or PVDF valves must be used instead.
