The 4MATIC 4M-BMW-UPVC-SD Series True Union Ball Valve provides superior chemical corrosion resistance and mechanical reliability in industrial fluid systems where metal valves suffer from galvanic corrosion, pitting, or scaling. Molded from premium unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (UPVC) resin, the valve resists chlorine, hydrochloric acid, brine, wastewater, and strong alkalis up to 60°C. The double true union design incorporates threaded union nuts at both inlet and outlet ends. This permits the entire central valve body to be unthreaded and removed from the pipeline for seat cleaning or replacement without disturbing adjacent pipe joints. Internal ball seats are CNC machined from pure virgin PTFE, delivering ultra-smooth quarter-turn rotation and bubble-tight bidirectional shutoff. The valve includes an ergonomic manual handle with an integrated seat adjustment tool. The top mounting platform accommodates standard ISO 5211 mounting kits, enabling seamless retrofitting with pneumatic rotary actuators or electric gearmotors for automated water treatment and chemical dosing skids.

A True Union valve features union nuts on both ends; unscrewing the nuts allows the central valve body to slide out freely while the pipe ends stay glued or threaded in place.
UPVC is suitable for temperatures from 0°C to 60°C (32°F to 140°F). For process temperatures between 60°C and 90°C, CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) or PVDF valves must be used instead.
